It is an important catalyst in building awareness of print advertising material lifecycles and leveraging improvements towards <a href="http://www.sustainablegreenprint.com.au/" target="top"><u>sustainable printing technologies and print management</u></a>.

The widget provides accessible, succinct information on print processes, paper issues, some definitions, ideas and links to other resources, and will run with or without an Internet connection. Since its availability in July 2008, with little promotion, the Sustainable Graphic Design Widget had been downloaded more than 2000 times. The widget is a stand-alone scripted software information tool. It was developed for the Apple Macintosh after research showed it to be the predominant computer platform used by Australian graphic designers.&
